7. Process Settingsby: saaiqSASLast Updated: 19/2/2025
In this section, we will explore the available Process Settings in the Data tab, which you can adjust when processing files. (Fig7.1)
Fig.7.1Maximum Parallel Files: This value determines the maximum number of files that will be processed simultaneously. Increasing this value can reduce processing time when handling large numbers of files, thereby improving performance.
Maximum Threads per File: This value specifies the maximum number of threads each file will use. Increasing this value can reduce processing time for larger files, improving overall performance.
Random File Names: Enabling this option will generate random file names for the encrypted files. Disabling it will keep the original file names, even for encrypted files. Note that this option only affects file names, not directory or folder names.
Invalid Key Protection: Enabling this option during encryption ensures that encrypted files will not proceed through the decryption process if an incorrect key is used. Disabling this option allows the files to undergo decryption even with the wrong key, which may result in incorrectly decrypted files being output. This makes it harder to crack the file, as the decryption process will not be stopped by the use of an incorrect key. Note that this option must be set before encrypting the files for it to take effect.
Quick Processing: Enabling this option optimizes the extracted key for faster access, greatly improving performance and significantly reducing processing time. Note that this option will require more memory.
